Bought Sims 3 Generations Expansion

Should’ve known better, of course it fucked up, requiring me to reinstall the base game and all patches.

Of course.

I have been on the EA support chat for about a half an hour, and after talking to the people there, and then being bumped up to the Senior Chat Support…I caved and asked for a refund. Fuck reinstalling everything AGAIN and then having to manually patch this, and install that and do this, do that blah blah blah.

IT’S A FUCKING EXPANSION. IT SHOULD INSTALL…AND WORK.

I never learn, this is just like when i bought World Adventures, then it fucked up everything (it’s now sitting uninstalled in a case on the floor under the computer desk, never to be played again)…then I bought Fast Lane and after wrestling with digital download problems I asked for a refund, since it too fucked up everything.

I made myself a promise to never buy another expansion pack from EA…but the Generations one is SO good. It’s less about new items and more about new interactions, making the Sim life more fulfilling. Which is why I play the Sims, trying to make perfect people with perfect homes, and perfect children and perfect lives.

Anyway, FUCK YOU EA. Once again, nothing but the worst from you.

And I bought this game thinking it would help me de-stress after the shit shit shit day I had…and all it did was waste my night, as Richard and I aggravatingly uninstalled and reinstalled and uninstalled and reinstalled shit, then sat in cue for the EA chat…and now it’s 11pm and I’m more stressed than before, and I have no night left. Awesome.

Super Nervous/Excited

I am going to get bangs added to my hair today, in about 5 hours.

Gonna play the Sims 3 for a while, to distract myself from the jitters I have.

Well, meet the fam.

This is Annette. I made her as a young adult, her name was Annette Dell. She met  a pre-made sim named Leroy Jenkins. With a name like that she had to marry him.

Meet Leroy Jenkins. A level 10 rockstar, he was surprisingly, not lazy or a computer whiz.  He was a party animal though. He and Annette had a booming family.

First there were the fraternal twins, Agatha (in the medical field) and Bridget (in the music field as well, following the classical branch). Agatha is dating a sim named Teddy Kapoor, and Bridget is engaged to Steven Acker, of the incredibly rich Acker family in Barnacle Bay.

As these two nearly aged up to teens, Annette and Leroy had….surprise! Two more twin girls.

Four girls in one house…too much!

The second twins are Helen and Leah, whom are seemingly identical aside from hairstyle, currently both in high school.

This is the first time I’ve had this many kids in my starter sim family. I smell a legacy! I can’t wait to look back on the family tree in a few generations. There are going to be so many grandkids!

I am going mental.

And it’s over a stupid reason…

but seriously…

I cannot find a teenage sim boy in the entire town. My two teen girls are going to age up soon…and the chances of them marrying is a lot greater if they are in relationships when they move out, at least from my previous experience.

Damnit, boys, where you at?

Three Things about Today

- We did “live” fire alarm testing today, to see how we’d react in an emergency. I got to pull one of the alarms at work, which made the alarm go off in the entire building, and cause all the fire doors  to slam shut and everything. It was pretty awesome. Although we kind of didn’t react nearly as fast as our instructor would hope, which is possibly because Kelsey was too busy drooling over him and I just  stood around confused. Haha.

- Secondly IRON FIST CLOTHING IS HAVING A CONTEST. I WANT TO WIN SOME MOTHER EFFING SHOES. You’ll see a post in an upcoming blog about this.

- Thirdly, I did another workout tonight, adding the push-ups. I couldn’t even get through one. My legs are strong but holy shit I have no upper body strength. This needs to be rectified.

Well folks, that is all. Off to go play my Sims 3 game…my family is as follows.

Annette and Leroy Jenkins (Seriously, that was the sim that was in the town. My sim Annette met Leroy and married him instantly because of his name).

They have four daughters, two sets of twins. Bridget and Agatha and the newborns Helen and Leah.

I should take screen caps of them so you can see how darn cute of a family I have got going.
