I saw the new X Men movie last night, First Class.
I fell in love with all the X Men characters again, and cannot wait to rewatch the other movies.
But seriously….Young Charles Xavier….yummmmm. Old Charles Xavier….yummmmm. I can’t complain at all.

The man from earth
Watched this today, some parts of the story were a bit hard to believe, but it was interesting. I ended the movie thinking, “if there was a person like this in real life, I would love to talk to them”
I also thought it was very much like watching a play, as it was so dialogue focused, which is an interesting style for a movie these days.

Tonight..
..was awesome.
Ate dinner at The Keg. DELICIOUS!
Bought a package of Buckyballs, which is fast becoming the best purchase I have ever made in my life.
After wandering around aimlessly downtown, Richard and I went and saw the movie Paul. OK, THIS MOVIE WAS AMAZING. And there were so many awesome actors in it!
Simon Pegg, Nick Frost (I was already sold at this point), but also Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Jane Lynch, Jason Bateman, Seth Rogen and Sigourney Weaver?! Next post, trailer!

We laughed.
Honestly though…this and the gross arm at the very end were the only things I remember too. I watched that movie when I was far too young to be watching it, though.

My body. It hurts.
So I was walking in the movie theatre parking lot yesterday, and I did a serious faceplant (hum the benny hill music as you read the following list, for effect).
- Scratched glasses
- Huge bump on forehead
- Tore a bunch of skin off my nose
- Sprained my left pinky finger
- Bruised my left elbow
- Tore about 50% of the skin off my knee
So I was bleeding in multiple spots and crying and all a mess last night waiting for HP to start, although seeing that movie again made me feel better until, you know, when our little buddy died, and then I was sobbing again.
ANYWAY. I woke up this morning and true to pain’s bastardly style of being 100x worse the next day, I can’t bend my knee. I cannot bend my pinky finger and it’s sticking out farther than the other fingers. My nose is all scabby and awful looking, and it hurts to lift my arm up all the way.
I have to do a bus trip tonight with work, and it involves loading up like 7 wheelchairs or something onto a bus, bending down and locking them to the floor in four spots each with tethers. FUCK. How they expect me to do this is, is beyond me.
