Today I am using a leftover button from “My 3 dollar find”. These buttons are pretty heavy so I didn’t want to put it on clothing because it really pulls at the fabric.
So I have my button and a hair tie.
Then I put the hair tie in half and fished it though the hold thing.
After that…
duhhh why didn’t I ever think of this? Simplest craft ever.

This garland is so beautiful. I am not so stuck on the birds hanging off of it, but the garland itself would be so flexible and multi-use! And if I used Queen Anne’s lace, which grows rampantly around here and on Rich’s cottage’s island, it would be free, I would just need the green thread. LOVE.

WhatIWore: Who wasn’t smitten with the most Shop Ruche* lookbook? I was especially taken with a black and white number shown with a vintage umbrella… so I made my own! Here’s how:
Supplies:
- Black Umbrella
- Ruler + Tailor’s Chalk
- White Paint (I used Block Ink)
- Paintbrush
This actually kills me, that umbrella is amazing!

Happy Sunday guys!
Since we’re on the subject of patterned duct tape and cardboards…I must warn you, this is kind of addicting! As long as you still have some tape left, you’ll want to cover everything with it :)
However, this coaster project has been one on my list since my scarf hanger…
I love patterend duct tape…and that coaster idea is phenomenal. We actually used patterned duct tape as the “ribbon” on our gifts this past christmas, it made them look super cute :)

What a funny idea :) Love it
Cute idea! This with a digital camera is a great alternative to a photobooth at a wedding, which has become a popular but expensive trend lately!

Black Lace Candles | Family Chic
I could stand for hours in the trim aisle of Spotlight, just looking at all the pretty lace, ribbons, pom poms… Sigh. I just wish I could have that in my house! Haha! I can never think of anything to do with it though. But this is so easy and effective, don’t you think? I don’t know if I would do it with black lace, but any kind of lace would be beautiful. Right, a trip back to the trim aisle is needed, this time with a purpose!
Black lace is fantastic.

Easy easy craft…however, like all crafts I woo over, it’ll get catalogued under “I Like it but will Never probably do it”

I don’t even know where to get there… but they are amazing!
